Enjoy what you do…

Here is a picture from a couple years ago of me and Stephanie before the Boston marathon. Boston is one run where you truly enjoy every minute of it.

Inspiration for the day: Today I had a patient who was 94 years young. We were setting her up for surgery. She informed me that she didn’t need any instructions on getting to Brackenridge hospital. She has been volunteering there Mon- Fri for the last 22 years. She takes the bus every morning and rides home in the evening. When I called over to the hospital to get everything arranged, everyone knew who she was, but they had no idea she needed surgery, because she never complained to anyone about being in pain…she just went about her “work”, helping patients. talk about enjoying what you do…
